The Butte Rough Riders Head Coach and General Manager Chris Shadow would like to invite you to the 2008-2009 Rough Riders Main Camp. The Rough Riders are excited to start their 6th season in the     Nor-Pac Hockey League.

Coach Shadow has been in the league for 5 years. This is his second year with the Butte Rough Riders. He has had many years of coaching experience from young children, to players at the pro level. He is very excited to be back in Butte after finishing his junior career here 10 years ago with the Butte Irish.

His goal is to build a successful program and help players excel and grow both on and off the ice.

Junior “A” hockey is for exceptional athletes who demand a greater challenge than that provided by prep school teams, high school teams, or area midget teams. The purpose of Junior “A” hockey is to develop and prepare the exceptional athlete for advancement in either Tier I or Tier II Junior “A” or collegiate Programs.

We have a solid group of veteran players returning and we feel that you could be a great addition to our team.

The 2008-2009 Butte Rough Riders Junior “A” hockey team  is not about to let the fact that winter days are behind us, and warm  days have arrived, this will not stop us from moving forward, to prepare for the upcoming season. 

The Rough Riders Junior  “A” tryouts will take place August 24^th through the 26^th at the Butte Community Ice Center. Check in time will be August 24^th from 11:00-1:00 at the Ice Center. The cost for the camp will be $150 per skater
